1998 hyudai elantra no reverse issue revisited!

I have an opportunity 2 buy a 98 elantra base w/air for $400. Its has no reverse . Its an
automatic. runs and drives but no reverse? Maybe a solonoid? Any opinions, suggestions
would b greatly appriciated. Thanks....Mike

No to everything. They won't pass inspection first off, and there is a reason they are 300 per car.
