Can having bad struts affect crankshaft position sensor?

Ive been riding on bad struts for awhile, didnt have the money to replace them. Several
times the other day it stopped in the middle of the road, on the way to autozone he
tested my car and said the crankshaft position sensor had gone bad, however when i
talked to the next guy he said that just because it failed the test doesnt mean its a bad
sensor, he said it could be a result of something else. Im thinking maybe the bumby
ride may have knocked some wires loose. Plausible?

Anything is possible but honestly I doubt it. What were the actual code numbers that he read at auto zone? Post these codes and I can give you more potential causes and solutions.

    cleaned map sensor, throttle body and changed O2 sensor. Check engine light is still on. It goes off when i use a can or two of injector cleaner, then it comes back on. Ideas???
