When driving the car it'll stop while I'm the road
and have to wait about 20/30 mins to start again.
I've replaced the fuel pump and filter. What is the
problem

My 91 caprice did the same thing,it WAS the pick up inside the distributor ,its an electronic switch, I replaced the whole distributor $140. then we all agreed the car ran and sounded like it did 20 years ago. The shorting goes in and out is why its hard to find. If you want to fix the car yourself , BUY the factory service manual, its about 600 pages, its worth the $$ about $40. Drive on , be safe.

@oldstorqnpower All lights stay on the temp gauge is at normal. It'll just cut off on me and seems like I gotta wait for it too cool down completely before it starts again

Sounds like you need a crank sensor. When the car warms up it shuts off then you have to wait for it to cool down for it to start. Sounds like a crank sensor.
