My car won't start stuck on cranking please help.

The battery on my car died, my dad came with a
spare battery to jump start it but when I tried to
turn it on they key got stuck in cranking position. I
checked all the fuses also and don't know what to
do to get my car started.

Have you tried shaking the steering wheel as you try to turn the key? Sometimes it gets caught like that..

Yes, I took it to my mechanic he ran a diagnosis and turns out there was no power coming from the fuel pump/ no ignition was happening. He also said that I needed the camshaft sensor which I finally ordered today
