I have a Mercedes kompressor 2002

Hi everyone, I have a Mercedes kompressor 2002 and when i put the key into
the slot it wont even flip over into the position it is suppose to be in in order to
start. It is all most seems like it is stuck. Is it a fuse problem ? We checked the
battery. I cleaned the inside of the key .

Sounds like the key maybe worn do you have a spare key ? Also you can try and spray some WD40 with straw into and around the ignition switch may help unstick.
