2003 Accent GL- Power windows won't work.

Asked by bsojc Aug 24, 2008 at 12:36 PM about the 2003 Hyundai Accent GL Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The power windows work on and off mostly off. With the engine on none of the window switch's work (lock is off). Every now and then in the morning will work for a little bit. I checked the fuse for the P/WDW, and all the others too just to be sure.
Any idea's?

P.S. I can't find a service manual for this car any where(except the dealer)

Thank you

Look for a Haynes manual through any of your local auto parts stores such as AutoZone. If they don't have one, they should be able to order one. Also, starting with the driver's side p/w switch, pull the switch and check for disconnected or not fully connected power connector. Could be a bad contact, or the connector isn't fully seated on the switch.
