C230 stuck in 1st gear

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car got involved in a flood about 3 years ago. Fixed (can turn on again) about a few months back and since then it can only drive in 1st gear, but everything else is okay as in it drives well, revs, reverse etc. There was a day where the gear was fixed but it accelerated very slowly even when I stomped the gas, then I left the car idle for 15 minutes to grab something in the house that I forgot to, then came back in the car and it was stuck in 1st gear again. Also if it's necessary to include: 1.) Every time I change gear (its an automatic) from any to D the car intends to nudge, like if you poke someone and they'll jump a bit. 2.) When I start the car it revs by itself ranging from 900-1300 rpm and rarely stables itself to 900 'cause that's what my car normally idles at. 3.) I can't change from Sport to Comfort (stuck on S). Any ideas on the problem or even solutions would be very appreciated.
