How much fuel does c230 v6 2.5 consume?

I have a 2007 c230 and the computer displays 8.6(20.2 mpg) kilometers per 1 liter in the "since reset" menu. I reset the odometer when the fuel reserve indicator came on, filled 30 liters and when the indicator came on again it was showing 210 km, so the real consumption was 210/30 = 7(16.5 mpg) km/l. Is this normal for this car or something's wrong? (sorry for my bad english)

You can only check milage accurately by the actual amount of fuel put in the tank compared to the milage. The onboard computers on cars are pretty accurate. Ive checked before and found within 1 mpg. The computer knows almost exactly how much fuel is being sprayed into the engine.
