04 sunfire, dead, wont start

my son has an 04 sunfire, he drove it over to a friends house and it ran fine, but when he tried to leave it wouldnt start, its dead, no lights at all even when jumping from my car...

I agree with tennisshoes and also sometimes when jumping a vehicle it will not start right away if battery is really low. Leave cables on and slightly rev up vehicle that is doing the jumping for about a minute or two then try starting vehicle.
