My G6 didn't come with the factory wiring
harness...are there any other models that
will work on the G6??

Wiring harness for the stereo...whoever owned it previously cut all it and just straight wired it.

Are you trying to install a factory stereo or an aftermarket stereo? If you need a factory set up with the plug you should buy one from a GM dealer.

Check with Crutchfield. They have installation kits that should help you out. I hope you labelled all the wires when you took the old stereo out.
