My absence light stays on had it check no abs
codes what could it be

Many basic code readers can't handle ABS scanning, possibly a wheel speed sensor or or bearing failing, or the ABS pump unit its self. Call around find a shop that still has the old TECH2 scan tool it will locate the issue.
