Pontiac Montana 2007 - Gear won't engage in drive

I have a 2007 Pontiac Montana and all of a sudden the gears won't engage in drive position. However if I shift the gears to 1 then 2 then 3 the drive the van runs so long as the van is moving at a decent speed. As soon as the speed drops the gear disengages and I have to move the gear to 1,2,3, drive again.  Notes I just had my transmission fluid changed not more that2 weeks ago.

Check the fluid level. They may not have topped it off or there may be a fluid leak.

Thank you for your reply. Just checked the fluid level last night and its in between min and max. When moving the gears it just feels like its in neutral.

I have a 2006 van in it won't go in drive are 3 gear but it work in 2 and 1 gear

Many people reported transmission pressure control solenoid failure requiring partial transmission disassembly to fix. 8 years of models affected. Starting with the 1999 pontiac Montana. Average km's until problem. 146,000 ranging from 50k to 300 k
