i have a 90 accord, i bought it yesterday. which gear should i put into drive D1 D2 D3 D4? I really don't wan to mess my engen up. HELP!

to be honest i bought this car yesterdya i don't know if it a DX or an LX, but it is a Sedan. I really would like to know the safest Drive gear to put my car in.  if you could help you can email me even at kissblissbaby@aol.com    PLEASE HELP I DON'T WANT TO BREAK MY CAR!! just got it yesterday!

Hi kissblissbaby! For the vast majority of driving with your automatic transmission you should use D4. You should also at least buy a copy of the owners manual for a 1990 Accord to answer similar questions (your local Honda dealer can get it) or buy a service/repair manual such as this one : http://auctions.yahoo.com/i:1990-1993%20Honda%20Accord%20Shop%20Manual%20on%20CD:221045770 Good luck with your new car!
