1992 honda civic wont start cold

I've been having some trouble with this 1992 civic, it will run and wont stop once I get it started but that is exactly my problem. I have a hard time starting it, it will only start after constant cranking and boosting. I check the spark plugs and they look wet which means that there is no spark.

I get that! It may not get enough of a spark and I understand that!

But how do I check that and know what is a fair and adequate amount of spark?

I would like to add that I replaced the following sue to failure and trouble shooting which all proved to be bad.
I replaced the Fuel Pump, Alternator, Starter, Spark Plugs, Cap & Rotor, Fixed and replaced Grounds so that this would be eliminated.

Just a note I do believe that it might be the Electronic Module in the Distributor. But I don't want to change it unless I am absolutely certain that this is the problem. Spend too much money on this vehicle!

If anyone has any suggestion that may work or lead me to resolving this issue I would be
grateful for this info.

there is a device you can buy for about 30 bucks called a check spark. it will let you know if there is adequate spark. before you do that though, I would test the compression in all of your cylinders to make sure it is good.

Thanks Mark but the car does run, its just hard to start when it is cold or sitting for an hour or so. I do have a spark tester I am not exactly sure how much of a spark I should be getting. Although I think that I'm not getting enough spark, leading me up to the question at hand.
