Honda Civic LX 92 brake issues

Asked by gnarly_marks Sep 16, 2015 at 09:56 AM about the 1992 Honda Civic LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So i bought a used Honda. Brakes didn't start working till the pedal hit the
floor.

First I bled the system. Didn't fix the issue
Then replaced the Master Cylinder. Nothing. (Yes, I did bench bleed the
MC)
Then pinched the lines to the Calipers and Cylinder. Brakes pedal felt
amazing. So I replaced the cylinders and calipers. Bled the system. STILL
DIDN'T FIX THE DAMN ISSUE.
So I went and got a new brake booster. Bled the system again. NOPE

I do not have ABS

Did you bench fill and pump the air from the new MC? Never install one without doing that first or you may never get the air out.
