I am 72 and next year I finally decided I want my last car to be an A3 convertible. 2 or 3 years old I can afford the monthly payments but I am frightened of paying the costly repairs .

My question is the cost of the famous Audi maintenance will break me. I would
of course  buy a 2 3 year old with a 2 year warranty.

I have no way of knowing your finances. If you are afraid buy a Toyota instead. Try a Solara.
