1994 Honda Civic dies when I take foot off the gas

My 1994 Honda Civic DX hatchback was stolen. I got it back and it was missing
distributor, and radio was gone. My friend replaced the distributor. Now the car starts
with battery connected to a jumper cable (I am not worried about the jumper cable part
right now). The car stays running as long as the foot is on the gas. As soon as foot is
off the gas, car stops. O also, 2 of the spark plugs were filled with oil when we first got
it. Now they are mostly dry now. My friend said replacing the spark plugs would fix the
problem. Is that true? Any advise would be appreciated.

check the intake for restriction the engine is pulling for air so much its pulling oil from the breather hose to valve cover

The ebay guy who I bought the distributor form finally told me that the distributor was from 1.6 L. "I figured out what happened, the inventory guy clicked on the wrong Hollander number when he inventoried the distributor, he has it right in the notes as its a 1.6L and you have a 1.5L that's why there is a difference " My mechanic tried to put the distributor in anyway, Car ran for a few minutes. He drove it. Now same again. It does not start anymore even. It cranks but does not start. Now the mechanic is saying that the timing belt is loose. What is the chance? Also, is it possible that a distributor from 1.6 L can work on 1.5L engine?
