Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We put a 2004 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4R70W AOD transmission into
our 2000 Ford Expedition. Everything matched and fit nicely. When we tried
to drive it, as first everything seemed fine until the computer started going
haywire. We understand that there is an all-new control programming in the
2004 transmission. Can the sensors be swapped or somehow calibrated?
Are there any options other than starting over?
