small dc motor continues to run when key is off

When ignition is turned off, a motor/I think continues to run under the hood on the right side as viewed from the front.  It is located below the huge air filter chamber and appears to have brake line connections to it.  The only way to stop it from running is to disconnect the battery cable.  The following information is on top of the motor:

it is your abs pump do you have a leak or have they been bled right

You have isolated the problem and identified the part. Check with the parts store to see how much a new one cost and it may be faster and cheaper to just replace it. The car is 14-15 years old. Old things die.
