i have a 1995 honda passport 4x4 automatic. The transmission wont shift, what could cause this

A hose busted and the transmission oil ran dry. fixed hose and now
transmission wont shift

More than likely fried the transmission. Or its a stuck shift solenoid. Is the fluid full, for sure? Smell burnt? Morr than likely transmission is fried.
