Remote Start kit

Do they make a remote start kit for a 1982 GMC Jimmy with a 350 engine and
automatic transmission.
I was told I can't put remote on a  carberated  engine.

Any push button switch with 2connecters or posts,one to starter selonoid for start other to positive power,be sure it's in neautral or park

Sorry, to be more clear I'm talking about a keyless remote starter kit. For starting the car from in the house on cold winter days.
