i replaced the factory stereo and bypassed the amp.it shorted out. Now the stereo wont come on unless the headlights are on.What could be causing this to happen/

i replaced the factory stereo because the amp shorted out. I bypassed the amp
but now the stereo doesnt come on unless the headlights are on. What could
be causing this to happen?

Mine is the same way, youve got your power or acc wire hooked to the dimmer wire.
