I own a Hyundai Elantra 2015 and my car just stopped wanting to start.
On Saturday, the car just will not start. The battery appears to be in good shape, all the lights, and programing is still on the dashboard and when we went to jump start it did not start. The engine just does a click, clicking noise. I was told it might be the Solenoid switch between the battery and the starter. Does this sound possible and how much does that cost to repair? What can I do to make sure that is the issue and where is it in the engine?
I have the same problem with my 2015 Alandra Limited. There seems to be many electrical issues. I have found that hitting the active echo button either off or on seems to remedy the issue. It's not a permanent fix, but it will get you where you need to go
I think that sounds right. It sounds like starter/solinoid, make sure starter and ignition fuses are right. To replace yourself about 80.00- 150.00 solenoid is usually connected to the starter. It's hard to work on these darned things talk to your NAPA or Autozone rep. Get aol on the car.
I meant get a book.
