My stereo turns on but no sound from any speaker

Asked by Jacob Jun 06, 2016 at 03:00 PM about the 1996 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Car Customization

So I have a 1996 Honda accord and I have had a
sound system wired in for awhile now ( I do all of
my wiring on all of my cars) and I just went through
and rewired the rear speakers because they
weren't working with the wiring. I ran 14g speaker
wire from my deck to my rear speakers and
reconnected all my other wires to my deck. I turned
my car on and everything was working, as it
should. Turned my car off for a bit and then back
on and now there is no sound coming from any of
my speakers... I didn't even touch my front
speakers except disconnecting them from the
deck and then back to it. What is going on?

Have you checked for a blown fuse someplace? Some cars have multiple fuses for one system or another, but do not always mark them so that you would know about it.
