2008 Check engine light

I recently purchased 08 Subaru outback, check engine light came on with these
codes Po171 and P1706.  The dealer says 02 sensor... Any thoughts?

If you use the 87 low octane gas all the time try using 89 or 92 octane gas had same problem started using the higher octane gas to make a long story short it took 10 tank fills and check engine light going off and coming on 4 times but light is now off and stays off. Also for got to mention when check engine light first come on the code reader said it was 02 sensor bank one replaced sensor 2 days later back on saying same code that is when I started using the higher octane gas.
