The gas was on first bar after Empty. Will that make fuel pump fail

Fuel pump failure is a possibility. Does the engine turn over when you try to start it?

You get cranking sound only... Battery seems ok..

If the check engine light is on you need to have the trouble codes read. Can you hear the fuel pump start running when you turn the key on?
