My car has been overheating bad. Gauge goes all the way up within 10 mins of driving. Top radiator hose gets hard and hot quickly.

Overheating.
My car has been overheating within
the first 10 minutes of driving. Since
I've had the car I prefaced the heater
hose, radiator, radiator cooling fan,
thermostat and too radiator hose. I
recently changed the top radiator
hose since it burst about 1 month
ago. The hose gets very hot way too
fast and it always builds up a lot of
pressure. I'm not sure if the coolant
is going from the radiator to the
engine. Also when the car overheats
pressure from the radiator pushes
the hose from the radiator cap to the
reservoir off while driving. Can you
help ?

It sounds like a possible head gasket problem. just one thing though, are you sure you got the thermostat in correctly? There is a kit for about 45 bucks at the autoparts store that can help you sniff your radiator for combustion gasses. Most shops have sniffers for this purpose too, might be something to try!
