Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello everyone. I drive a 98' Honda Civic LX. I'm looking for some plugs and wires that are great quality while also offering me efficiency and power. My main problem is deciding what brand this would fall under. Price is not an issue so I'm up for any amount of cost. I was thinking about just taking it to Honda, but figured I have changed them before in other cars, no big deal. So, please give me good choices. Thanks.

If it has a waste spark ignition then you could put iridium plugs in it. You get the best performance with OEM parts. Check with honda. You can also get a kit to index your plugs which basicaly makes it so the opening of the plug faces the intake valve. A lot of performance tuners do this to get a little more power out of it.

yeah i agree, get Iridium plugs...any brand as long as it's Iridium... I got Denso on so it's all good...not as great as OEM's but actually cheaper, i think...and the wires i got were the thicker ones named Nology... i think that brand is commonly used for Hondas (back at my area) to get a little more power (bcoz of cleaner burn)...but if you have turbo, it probably gives you just a wee bit of horsepower, same as getting an ECU upgrade... coz electronics and ecu can give you a boost if your running on NA...

Well if you are looking at performance iridium is not for that it's for longevity. Silver is the best in terms of performance for spark plugs.
