1998 Honda civic ex headlights keep blowing out

Asked by brent_black Jan 07, 2015 at 11:16 PM about the 1998 Honda Civic EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay,
So my girlfriend has a 1998 Honda civic ex and within the last year we had to replace
the headlights about 4 times. I don't think it has just been a certain side because I
remember replacing both sides at some point. Is there anything that could be causing
this?

Also she just told me her head unit keeps flashing on and off, I haven't looked at the car
yet to check for loose wiring or anything but maybe she could have some type of
electrical problem? Her brake light is on and also her abs light. I tried researching and
didn't come up with much. Next time I see her I will check the brake fluid levels.

Thanks for your help I appreciate it
