I am considering purchasing a 1998 honda accord with 135,000 and it has a new honda transmission

Asked by mustlovewine Mar 31, 2009 at 11:20 PM about the 1998 Honda Accord EX V6

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Does anyone think this is a poor choice or poor purchase? The honda accord v6 ex package has everything in great working condition and it has the honda recall for its new transmission installed in Sept 08.  I am just wondering if this is a wise purchase considering the mileage and new tranny..Thanks for you help.

All scheduled honda maintenance performed except for the fuel pump.

the 6th gen (1998-2002) accords are notorious for tranny failure if honda covered the cost of repairs theres not much to complain about
