Mitsu Dodge '89 raider

Question type: Car Customization

I recently bought this car in Costa Rica and most everything is working accept the after market Pioneer AVH 2758X BlueTooth audio system. No one else noticed but as a sound engineer I immediately heard that only one channel of the rear speaker was working. The front right speaker is intermittent and occasionally comes on. I have not removed the unit yet since however it was attached is not easily removable. It appears that i will have to remover the center part of the dash if not all of it. From the lookes of it the facade is fine but the wiring seems to be a botch job by someone who had very little experience and didn't both reading the Pioneer manual. I was looking for either a youtube or a pdf manual on the dash removal but have had no luck so far. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

If the wiring is an amateur job you will need to redo the connections. There usually is a wiring diagram on the radio chassis. I would solder the connections and use heat shrink tubing to insulate them. You may need to run new wires to the speakers that do not work.

Hello GT member, Thank you for your answer but that was not my question and I have the complete Pioneer manual. I’ve installed $60,000 sound systems in Porches. I wanted to get the manual for the disassembly of the Raider dash board. I don’t do botch jobs. Robert Drake

Buy a Raider repair manual, factory would be best for your issue.
