Were you driving it and it went dead before you replaced the fuel pump? Or did you replace the fuel pump because you tried to crank it and it would not start?

I replaced it because it wouldn't star ...my friend said that was his best guess

Do you hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the key to the on position? It should stop priming at about the same time your check engine light goes out. If it's not priming I would check the main fuel relay. Accords tend to be known for them going bad.

I'm actually planning on changing it tomorrow but I case that's not the problem any thing else you can think of?

I would remove and clean/inspect the spark plugs. They might be fouled out with gas due to all the cranking. With them removed I would crank it over a few times to blow excess fuel out of cylinder. Reinstall them and try again to start it. Have you checked for blown fuses? Also use a timing light to make sure all of the plugs are firing.

Is there a way to tell if the main relay is bad via visual inspection

Turn your key to just the on position. Do you hear the fuel pump priming for a few seconds and then turning back off? If so your relay is operating properly. If not it could either be bad relay or bad fuel pump. But if you have already replaced the pump then it's a relay issue.

I have a 99 accord 4 cylinder it cranks but won’t start I change the main relay, fuel injectors and still won’t start I also changed the computer and tried getting the key programed and it won’t allow me to do so what can I do to get my car started I just changed the motor also and now all these issues are coming up

I changed my main relay and my fuel pump. Still no start. My fix was something so easy it was crazy. I changed my negative wire on the battery and sanded down all connection points. Hooked it back up and my accord fired up immediately.
