Timing belt breaking has it own set of needed repairs to fix since it broke while running, the overheating causes the head to warp so its toast now, your pistons (or even rods/cam/valves but doubt it) may be too, so it has high miles too, Just replace it.

I have a 1989 Honda accord that quit running it has spark and fuel,i checked the timing belt and did a compression test and all cylinders were good.I sprayed starting fluid in thottel body and still wouldn't start.i even put gas down the spark plug holes and still couldn't get it to enen start for a second.it will fire every so often but that's it.i don't know what else to do.does anyone have any ideas.i would really appriceate it THANKS 3 Answers

The trunk to my Honda Accord 2001 was broken into. But they only stole the key cylinder from the trunk key hole. I am suspecting their intent is to use it to model a key so they can come another day and simply open my car door and drive away. Has anyone heard of this being done by car thieves?
