I have a 1999 Honda accord and from 1st to 2nd
gear it will rev up then snatch..but ever other gear
is perfect

Honda three shaft trans are and hard one. I have rebuild many. I would guess the is a valve body problem or a clutch pack issues. It could also have a internal pressure leak. Yo get to the valve body is a lot of work and most non-techs, this is to much. I would take it to a trans shop and have it rebuilt or if you feel able. Find a good used trans and install it
