What type of speakers should I get in my '99 Accord?

Asked by Swishies Oct 25, 2010 at 05:13 PM about the 1999 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Car Customization

I'm a beginner in speakers, subs, amps, ect.. So I just want something that is good, reliable, and doesn't scratch when its turned more than half way up.

I have had really good luck with kenwood myself, pretty high grade stuff, yet it is priced in the mid range. Stay away from wal-mar stuff.

Bose is awesome, but it's a bit pricey... My ex was a bit of a sound snob when it came to his car, he put Bose in everything he listened to, so I can vouch for the sound quality(having cranked his stereo more than once... SHH it's a secret)
