Question type: Car Customization

Okay so this is my first go around on making a
tuner and its an automatic honda civic lx with a
1.6l its fwd and I just want a car that can compete
with the local car scene and maybe build it to be
alot more competitive later but that's besides the
point rn I just need information on getting some
good speed and more horse power and what I had
in mind was trying to install a turbo if possible and
everything I would need to gather to get to that
point so if anyone has any information feel free to
help me out later on down the road once I get up
enough funds I will be doing a swap rn everything
is stock but I'm looking to get in the car scene so
please help a brotha out

A turbo is going to get complicated, you will need to mount the inter- cooler in front of the radiator, anyway why not spend money on cold air intake, Hi perf fuel injectors and see if you can find a tuner shop that can readjust valve timing, then smoke em the valve timing will be a new crank and cam sprocket and timing belt

To mike: do you have any suggestions for an inexpensive fuel injector I could put in cause I already ordered a short ram intake for it the turbo is gonna be a project in the long run if and when I get the funds for a swap

Have I got the setup for you forget the turbo, do you have a speed shop? If not look on line. First you want A.E.M. High volume high flow fuel rail, ACCEL high perf fuel injectors, you can increase fuel line diameter up to 1/2 in. Here's the kicker this fuel rail has a nitrous port ( nitrous like buy a spare set of front tires) you would use this stuff if you added a turbo so it's a good deal. I've seen this setup on a drift car the joke is first gear is fast second faster third really fast fourth super fast and fifth dearly beloved we are gathered here today. Let me know how you like it if you can't find this stuff let me know I'll follow here
