Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i was driving down the road and my car starts to put down and cut off on me just as if i ran out of gas but i have over a quarter tank in it. then wouldnt start or catch spark. i replaced the spark plugs and the car started right up but didnt last long. i drove about another half mile and it did it again. as if i ran out of gas. but i have gas. i dont know much about fixing cars. i just wanna know what the problem is.

i suggest investigating your spark plugs(maybe OEM(stock) if not already), spark plug wires, distributer cap, fuel filter. You could also be in need of an engine flush, or ignition cleaning depending on. Had the same problem with my cobalt 06 sedan, after all the above exceot dsitributer cap car now responds exceptionally better than before.
