Check engine light flashing on 2000 honda Accord LX

I have a 2000 honda Accord LX my  car doesn't
have a catalyst converter the  check engine light
starting flashing...it will only start flashing when I
am at a stop or when I start driving light stops
flashing but still check engine light is on but stays
on doesnt flash while im driving just when I'm
idling and when I come to a stop

Dude is right! It's a 25.000 dollar fine for a shop to get caught doing this: Removing it and putting in a straight pipe. Search E-bay they have some reasonable ones. You'll pay out the yang anywhere else. Take one in some shop will weld it up for you. Curios What are the 02 sensors doing? They gotta be plugged in some how?
