2002 cavalier turns over and starts for a second then turns off what could be the problem?

Yesterday i was waiting to turn out of the parking
lot and when i did i gave my car gas and it didnt get
up and go but my rpms shot up then i let off the
gas then gave it gas again and it drove fine but
then i was sitting in a parking lot and it just turned
off and now it turns over and acts like it wants to
start but wont ive replaced the spark plugs i
checked my fuses i just want some ideas of what it
could be

Similar to previous post as low fuel pressure. Bad fuel pump? Clogged fuel filter? Clogged fuel injector?

I will try the fuel filter first it is the cheapest way to start then go on from there
