I'm far from a mechanic lol All I know is the distributor cap has been took off 3 different times in less than 3 weeks and every time it was took off its started and ran fine for about 3 or 4 days then go out and it just cranks and won't start all over again.

Then I would start with a tune up Cap, rotor button, Spark plug wires, may check all their connections and use dielectric grease on all plug wire boots, check electrical connections there and around that area. There is a pick up stator module under the rotor button mount, has a 2 or 3 wires running to it, it may be the problem worth checking or replacing.

That's what I'm gonna try next. It definitely seems like it has something to do with taking off the distributor cap cause all 3 times we took it off it has started and ran perfect for 3 or 4 days and thanks

I have a 2003 blazer and I just put a new starter and a new battery but won’t start just clicking sounds
