could be the blower motor , you need a multi tester to see if it has power/ground when it dies

There is a temp sensor that has 1 screw holding it in place on the side of the airflow box. Under the passenger side behind the junk box or glove box. Look for a plug that goes into a removable plastic door about 2x2 or 2x3 inches. That there is the thermal cupling fuse . It is like a transistor in a car amp. It gets hot and the airflow in the box on its way to the motor keeps it cool. If it fried it'll cost you about 180 new. You can test it by removing it from its nesting spot and turn the car on and heater. After about 10 seconds touch it and see if it's hot. If it is then check for a blockage. I've seen mice make nests and airflow is too poor to make the thermal fuse cool so it shuts itself off. My guess is that is the problem.or a dying thermal fuse. You say it does come on for a bit then shuts off? I can 99.9% be sure it's that.ive had it happen. Easy fix.cost wayyy to much but a winch to fix. There's a 100$ diagnosis for free .....glad to help.
