My 2006 chevy silverado seat belt alarm will bong 33 times every time I start it,

Every time I start my 2006 Chevy Silverado the normal seat belt alarm goes
off 5 times. No problem there, But then it goes off 33 times! This happens
every time I start it. Very annoying! Any one know what this is trying to tell
me?

Hi JohnandLee: I do not have a solution for you as I have the same problem with my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500. Have you by any chance found a solution ?. I went to a GM dealer but I do not want to pay for hours of labour costs and they could not (or would not) give me any clues. If I find out anything, I will reply back here
