2002 Honda Civic 1.7 one cylinder not firing. What could be wrong?
Cylinder one is not firing, multiple misfire codes. The other 3 are fine. Coils, spark plugs, and fuel injectors are new. Time Belt looks good. What else could be causing cylinder 1 to not fire?
Check the compression on that cylinder. If it's low it's probably a burned valve. HTH. - Jim
The not firing is due to no spark. Even though the coils and plugs are all new there is no spark. All we can figure is maybe there is a short somewhere. It's getting fuel, too.
