2003 pilot lx awd drivers seat malfunction seat possition motors, seat frame feels broken can't hold set position anybody else any ideas dealer says you pay

Yes, I think so. My power seat moved forward and back no problem, but there was always movement in the sear. Turns out part of the frame actually sheared between the two rivets they used to connect the frame (my Pilot has never been in an accident). I took the part out, had it welded, drilled the rivets out and replaced them with bolts. I will be contacting Honda to let them know and ask for replacement. I may send pics to the NTSB just in case this is a larger problem that they should be aware of.

my 2009 pilot has the same problem with the seat shearing off where it connects to the seat frame
