2016 Honda CR V maintenance

Asked by GuruJK312 Aug 05, 2020 at 03:14 AM about the 2016 Honda CR-V SE AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does it sound right that when I took my 2016 Honda CR V
into my dealer for an oil change and maintenance with the
only repair being front brake pad replacement, my charge is
$1900? I have approx. 82,000 miles and have been pretty
meticulous about getting my car serviced on time. I have
only owned Hondas and have never paid that much for any
repair much less maintenance.

Thank you for your answer! I didn't defer any maintenance and because I live in California and this is my commuter car, the mileage definitely adds up. Also because of that, I try very hard never to miss my oil change appointments and don't defer maintenance at all. I still don't have the paperwork yet, but I remember hearing that I needed to have "flushes" done on all of the fluids in the car. And there is much debate on whether this expensive option is really necessary. What are your thoughts?
