I have a Honda Accord manufacture date 8/02 & my left rear window will not go down using the master switch, ( it wI'll however go up if I lower it using the left rear window switch. )

Also purchased a used master
switch,  and ended up with the
same result.  The motor is good
and the window goes up/down
with the left rear window switch...  
(tried to use a used wire harness
and it  didn't work at all.    Pulling
my hair out...   please respond
ASAP before I fix the window
with a rock!

You need to pull the trim panels and search for a disconnected wire connector or broken wire between the master switch and the rear window.
