Most vehicles today use one battery to power the vehicle. What issues are you having?

Yes, if your Malibu is equipped with the Auto Start/Stop system. It will be located on the drivers side in the trunk behind the little door with a battery symbol on it.

The 2016 and newer Malibu 1.5T (gen9) do not have an aux battery. It is a one battery system. Certain gen8 models (2013-2016 Malibu Limited) have the original 2 battery system.
