Asked by danidd Apr 22, 2018 at 05:53 AM about the 2004 Honda Odyssey LX FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have Odyssey 2004.Mileage 189.000
The car had no problems for 14 years.  The check engine light come on and my  car tech said not to worry. So after 3 mounts my car just stop while I was driving. Rear and 1st and 2 nd gear working. I went to the same tech on 2nd gear, I was lucky I was in the neighborhood. He said the transmission is broken  without testing .I went  home and left the car in the garage .After 2 days i start the car and I was surprise to see that the car drives on D gear again. I was told that the transmission is broken.
Any idea what is happening?
