Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a 2016 Dodge charger and I was told by
dealership that transmission fluid is life time on my
car that Chrysler made so I was told but I than still
took it in to get it checked and it all came out good
no problems and after I got my car back my check
engine light went on

A check engine light on indicates an issue and a trouble code is stored. Take it back to the dealer that did the work so they can see if they forgot to plug something back in and as to why the light is on.
