Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a honda element and my hood cable broke. I
can't get the hood up and I need to put oil in my

You will have to get under the front of the car and use a long tool to trip the latch. Good luck.

where did the cable break ,under the hood or under the dash ,? If it broke in the cabin there might be strands of wire you can get vise grips on and pull it open .
